You don’t want to know about recent AI Hacks!

The NewYorkTimes.com reported that “Over the last few months, artificial intelligence systems have gone rogue, hacking into corporate systems and raising fears that the technology is outpacing human efforts to control it.”  The September 22, 2026 article entitled “What to Know About Recent A.I. Hacks” (https://www.nytimes.com/2026/09/22/technology/ai-hacks-list.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share) included these comments from Reporter Kate Conger about AI Hacks for OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Google:

It is unclear how often hacks occur, and companies may not always disclose a breach if they uncover one (if they uncover it at all). But several notable incidents have been caused by A.I. models developed by many of the major labs, including OpenAI and Anthropic. Some were more serious than others. Some lasted months. We’ll break down what happened, and how the hacks varied in cause and severity.
